Not for Profit and Community

There are 97,000 not for profit institutions in New Zealand, ranging from local government boards to small community groups. Throughout the sector there is a need for training, particularly in the areas of financing and funding, governance and retention and motivation of key staff. Manukau Institute of Technology (MIT) is developing a suite of short courses to address needs throughout the industry and also provide a pathway to further education.
