This seminar is directed at those who have an interest in the movement of goods and will examine the principles and practice of marine insurance as it relates to cargo.
Content
The seminar will address the responsibility of the insured in defining the risk, accepting the proposed terms and agreeing to the type, form and content of the policy document. Claims procedure and process, establishing cause, mitigating and quantifying loss, measuring indemnity and lodging claims for settlement will be covered.
This seminar will also be of benefit to students studying Managing Risk in the Supply Chain paper by distance learning in the Graduate Certificate programmes.
