Any person involved in the transportation of goods within New Zealand such as shipping line staff and distribution managers.
Content
Participants on this seminar will gain a practical understanding of the application of the New Zealand Carriage of Goods Act 1979. This Act applies to domestic carriage of goods as well as international shipments prior to loading on the exporting vessel/aircraft or after discharge from the importing vessel/aircraft. Practical case studies will be completed to develop a working knowledge of the application of the Act. Includes content on CMR and COTIF regimes.
This seminar will also be of benefit to students studying the Managing Risk in the Supply Chain paper by distance learning in the Graduate Certificate programmes.
