Participants will gain knowledge and skills to focus the performance of their people through clear, agreed performance plans:
To maximise learning opportunities, participants will be asked to complete pre-workshop activities before the workshop. These activities will be discussed and made relevant in the workshop. Participants should enrol at least two weeks before the workshop date to enable them to complete the activity.

- The Performance Management process: organisation and individual
- The stages of Performance Management: Planning; Measurement; Appraisal; Feedback
- The Performance Management cycle
- Attitudes and approaches to managing performance
- The performance appraisal interview.
