Practical strategies on how to delegate and be a time saver and not a time waster.
The aim of this course is to provide practical strategies for effective delegation:
To maximise learning opportunities, participants will be asked to bring with them examples of when delegation has or has not been successful for them. Participants are encouraged to enrol at least two weeks before the workshop date to enable them to complete this activity.
Light lunch and refreshments provided.

- Gaining results based on effective delegation
- Recognising ineffective delegation
- Knowing what to delegate
- Gaining co-operation from staff and understanding personality styles
- Defining tasks in terms of the results wanted
- Defining authority (or absence of it)
- Agreeing on deadlines and benchmarks
- Asking for feedback
- Setting up controls to make sure the task is progressing smoothly.
